Country Fair Was a Big Hit!
Thank you to everyone who came out for our Annual Country Fair. It was a beautiful fall evening, with a great turn out and wonderful activities. Thank you to everyone who helped - students, teachers, family and friends. Our entertainment acts were fabulous, the food was yummy, the kids bounced to their hearts content and people were happy with the treasures they won at the silent auction. Look forward to seeing you next year!

Did you know? Books that are sold help the library earn credit to buy books for the library! This year the goal is $4,000 and the library will keep over half of the in new books for the library. You can also buy books to help supplement your child's classroom.
**We are also looking for volunteers to help staff the book fair. If you haven't already filled out the volunteer form, please call or email Librarian Audra Hammerling to sign up.

for the 2013 Rock the Walk
The 2013 Rock the Walk was a huge success, raising over $13,000 from sponsorship donations and pledges collected by students. Thank you to everyone who helped out and a special shout out to our top earning classes! They enjoyed a Pizza Party last Thursday, October 3rd.K-2nd: Mr. Cano

Art in the Classroom
Art in the Classroom - First Quarter
Coarsegold Elementary PTA is pleased to launch Art in the Classroom for the 2013-2014 school year. Each quarter all students will be able to participate in an out of the classroom art related project. First Quarter was cooking with Valerie Newland. The kids had fun making bread monsters.

Rock the Walk 2013
The 2nd Annual Rock the Walk was a huge success!! Thank you to all of our community sponsors, staff, parents and of course our awesome students for such a fun day!!
Back to School Night
Thank you to all the families who showed up for Back To School Night. And a special thanks to all who joined the PTA. We are well on our way to meeting our 2013 Membership Goal of 125 members.

Hello PTA members, we all hope your summer is going well and fun!
Due to the tragic, sudden loss of her husband, one of our board members
has had to stand down. We had 2 positions open, one has been filled by
the awesome Carrie Jenkins, but we still would like 1 more board
member. We are also looking for a president elect. This person would
not be a board member but would work with our PTA President to learn the
ropes to take over the president position for the 2014-2015 school
year. Our Walk-a-Thon planning committee will be meeting July 9th at 2 p.m in the Library at Coarsegold School for anyone who would like to help plan this years Rock The Walk.
